The guys at Diab are always worth a call in Gloucester 01452 501860.
Also try Wizz at Matrix Mouldings in Bristol, http://www.matrixmouldings.co.uk/  often has a lead on all sorts of goodies

Hi Mark

I want to replace all my poly boards with compsands.  The board I made that you helped me with was unbaleavably light and strong with only 1 layer of 4oz and 2 oz to stick the sheets on. Was a bit rough though and maybe a bit too thin so its a quad kitesurfboard now.  All my freinds love it.
I called them and it looks like it will cost 45 inc delivery.

Keep well

They are very helpful and knowledgeable, but divinycell sucks resin, it is very coarse on the surface and bloody green/grey!
Rohacell is white and great to work with, but very expensive and the importers don't seem too helpful.

hi mark  I got my corcel yesterday but I migh have ordered the wrong one.  I orderd the A300 and not the A500 can I still use it if so do I need to do anything different like 4oz to glue the layers instead of 2oz.  Or should  just ask them to change it around.

Cheers

A300 should be fine, its almost 60 kg/m3, which is plenty. Corecell is tough stuff.
Probably 6 ounce minimum on the outside for that stuff, 4+4 would be great.
The inner glass isn't as critical as the outer ding resistance or resistance to crushing when using the light foams.
But it's so light weight that you should use 4 oz inside on the bottom, and a bit more than that on the inside of the deck where the foot traffic goes.

hi , i have used this foam its seems good stuff, pure white and hard ,it soaks a bit of resin when laminating, it rolls up into a tight tube its that flexable , all in all a good waterproof alternative to wood , i used pu rail band offcuts as the rail material and then covered the rails with carbon so you can/t see the joins,  pete
