Hi Guys

Started this weekend.  Cut eps Blank with Laptop power supply wire cutter. Put all the bit in the bag with glass and resin and Corecel, swaped the coresel around for the stronger stuff.  Using a fridge motor for a vac pump. With turbo gauge and bought vac switch.

Came back with the board looking like a banana and a round hull.

Problem is I had the switch set to 20 and not 5-7.  As jy dom is moet jy KAK (Saffa for if your stupid then you must suffer)

So I started the process over with the switch set to 5 and it came out sweet, correct rocker and concave.  Only the core and the hull layer.  Will do the the deck layer tonight and update with some pics. even of the banana.

Keep well

Bannana board.  Yep, done that.

It's the only time I've ever really lost it making a board.   Took out all my frustrations on that poor ruined (probably salvagable) blank.

Good learning lesson though.

What's the story on the pc power supply?  I'm using a battery charger still, but it really sucks.   What kind of voltage/amperage does that output?

Edit: Or I could have just scrolled down a little way and seen your post about the wire cutter, right?
