Hey y'all!

It would be very nice if you could give me your thoughts on my next shape. I think outline and rocker look pretty clean, but I'm nót realy experienced so I would ike to get some input from you guys.
I want to surf it in small to medium sized points and beaches. It's rather for smooth turns and the occasional cutback than radical snaps or floaters. With 85kg, 193cm and not too much water time I want it to be an easy paddler. Thought about putting in plugs for quads and a big box in the center to test different fin options.
here it is:

Hi Satch

I like the outline a lot.

Looking at the foil though, if this is for a compsand, I think you have too much thickness through the middle - unless you are building very heavy. I don't work in metric, but 69mm is a lot of inches  Grin

I feel like I'm overbuilding my boards at the moment but they still feel too bouyant at less than 2" thick. I'm also trying to distribute thickness more evenly from nose to tail as this seems to make the boards more predictable through turns and paddle better. Thinning the middle section might help with that.

I might be way off base, but theres some thoughts to get the ball rolling.

. looks like what im riding sorta for up to 4 ft . im same size as you. my boards are 6 to 6 3 up to 4 ft then everything changes

i personally dont mind the thicker compsands as long as the tails are not thick. im doing a few that are close to 60mm thick but they are slighty longer yea. i dont really shape more then 2 3/4 thick on a shortboard and tails are foiled out like a thin board.
other concern is the tail width you got there. anything over 15 is pushing it imo

cant really figure out your numbers but heres a guide
2 1/4 to 3 inch tail rocker with some flip. my personaly boards are between 2 1/2 and 3
nose entry between 20 and 25mm at 12 inch mark

people say flat tails for speed but i prefer get speed from volume and entry rocker
