Been a bit slow the last 6 months
Anyway, just polished off 2.
First is a 6'2" kneelo. Got the joshdowling preferred wood/h80 bug on the rails on this one. Looks grand but I think it feels stiff with wood in the rail.
Second is a kinda paipo, kneeling, standing thing for my mate who can't make up his mind how he wants to surf.
This one's just under 6' and all dcell in the rails. Flex is better like this I think.
Also noticed something a bit, well... impossible.
After hotcoating and sanding both boards felt kind of 'dead'. They had flex, but none of that buzzy-resonance you sometimes get when you twang the nose with the heel of your hand. Then I glossed them and polished them... and they came alive again. Like the gloss/polish tightened the whole thing up. I know logically there can't be any reason for this but...
