EPS is not a very lively foam - thats why we use wood and HD foam.

I don't know, the atua-cores eps foam has a very nice and quick flex return, I would say better than the very few PU blank scraps I've had my hands on. The insulation foam I have is crap in comparison.

I was sorta meaning the 1# insulation foam, the 2# blanks are sure to have much more life to them.

I always think of the foam as being just one step away from being hollow.
The jump from lightweight EPS to full hollow (no ribs or anything) is so large!
It's hard to imagine a foam that can be lighter than EPS yet provide such great support for the skins.

Really EPS is amazing stuff for it's density. It's amazing how much you have to beef up the skins to hold the load without the core.
