I have a one room shaping/sanding bay and do my glassing and bagging in a garage space.  I have a good respirator, but sanding without dust extraction is unhealthy so dust extraction is the next thing I want to get.  Most small shop vacs or dust extractors are made for wood working areas and I was wondering how effective they are for sanding fiberglass?  Anyone using a good system for home or possibly built an effective system?

i do industrial concrete grinding and nilfisk are the only one we use
everything else no good
they purge the filter automatically
any industrial nilfisk with the self cleaning filter is good
we prefer the "alto attix" type machine
set you back a fair bit but worth it

i also have a woodworkers one but its so so performance
run a fan out the window
