That's wicked looking Huie I can imagine making some mayhem let loose with some of those, what are the limitations on size etc ?

Is it true that you can dial up the shape for customers from a computer drawn shape ?

How about bagging paulownia on ?   Grin

roy as we blow more blanks we keep learning more
we can engineer the blank to suit a customers needs
yes you can vac anything you like but you only need to do the bottom the deck& perimeters
are moulded the density is preety hard
this blank will build you a light board hell strong
no vents   it just gets better as we go     thay will ban me from the factory
for my mind is racing a way ahead     i have not even begun yet

Huie
After talking to you this morning and seen your photo's I should stop make STD PU blanks and just make the CDD and start making boards again. Thats why I started making boards because it was fun now it just dam hard work making blanks should get back to where it all started, you might be band from the factory but your wife is ok as long as she  brings more good food each time. Nice job huie

Huie and Pete,
How do they ride?
Do you get the same flex / springback as a 'standard' compsand?

I'd love to take that 6'0 for a spin.

Cheers,
Scot

HI Guys
Sorry Huie to jump in here but just a quick note for people wanting to know how the blank is made. Well we start by  ----------  sorry that's all there is. The feed back I have so far is they flex and feel better than the same board made from a std PU blank. What we did was with DMshapes was make him his everyday board from the same machine fill but used the CDD blank. that was 8 weeks ago and check the board yesterday and still no damage on the deck, its been surfed everyday and its the only board he now uses. DMShape is now making some boards from the CDD blank for MF. one will be all cloth, the other we will get Huie to bag a bottom skin on it so MF can feel the different types boards. Nice to have this preview here.  Perhaps I missed something, but has anyone mentioned what type of foam this blank is made out of?  Polyurethane? Eps?  Both?  Other?  And what densities are we talking about?

Thanks for the information.

I guess it would - there's only one other thing MF could stand for. Peter how customisable are these?  would you be able to machine something like the board attached?
