Seal the insides of the skins really well (forget about weight and use extra resin!)

Glass with 6 ounce deck, 4 bottom, with deck reinforcement patches (under or over the skin, your choice)

Install a goretex vent.

Your water problems will be over!
I know that you already know all this, but I thought i'd repeat it again.  Smiley
For a travel board, i'd even glass it double 4 deck and 6 bottom.
Built to last.
I'm so jealous of you going to indo...... enjoy!!

hey wouter
make a 7 2 and build it with more glass
it will be bakup board when you tired sunburnt and rashed out and arms are lead
im fit and surfing hollow waves  after about 3 days and 6 hours a day i want a bigger board to deal with crowds and very late hollow takeoffs
indo mainly lefts ,if you natural footer. you will be pig dogging
pig dogging is an art in itself and if you commit it is far more heavy wipeout then going forehand
the advice on swayloks was bad . stev lennox was so right about a bigger board
