Got a few, it rained so no video, wasn't that flash but the board did well

The new fin will show up at Bill's place in Haleiwa tomorrow hopefully, we are crossing our fingers that Garrett will find the right position on the board. . . he was way too far back and did amazingly well to control the board at all from back there,  there's no future in riding from the back end though as the board just drags in a semi stall.

Anyway the fin won't bust that's certain

No sympathy !  Grin

I see that SynergyTodd is misquoting me on Swaylocks again by saying that I claimed the 13 footer to be "the ultimate board for pipe"  . . .  sheeeesh I would never say anything like that and I never did . .. . .  some people just WANT me to make outrageous claims so they make them up !

For a start there is no such thing as the ultimate board for any break as people like boards which suit their own tastes and way of surfing, and secondly what i actually said was that it would be " an exceptionally good longboard for pipeline" which means up there with the best longboards used at pipeline.

Anyway the fin has arrived in L.A. a little later than we hoped, and it looks like the eddie won't be held so possibly the SUP comp at makaha will be on, Garrett is entered in both events, so we are hoping that he might have a free day on the next swell.

If one of you blokes could nip over to Sw.aylocks and set them straight on what I actually claimed I'd be most grateful, it's really annoying being misquoted.

its totally crap whats goin on roy. on the up side tho its prity incredible what is happening with respect to your boards and your ideas, do your best to forget about the critics, its what happens when you get popular.  Wink (according to my fiances gossip mags)

you have a board in hawaii, no less on the north shore. that is wicked. keep it up dude. we all support ya here.

Cheers Moonfish,

I emailed Todd and Sean and they have edited what they were saying, it was just one of those rumours that gets around like 'so and so said such and such',  started by 'someone or other'  !

Just did a double take that we actually have riders on the North Shore having a go on one of our boards, something which was a pipe dream a few years ago.

No and there won't be on here.

Roy has demanded that his account be deleted and even threatened legal aciton should any of our members "defame him".

Oh well.  The thirteen footer will be sorely missed.  But I have to admit trying to adjuicte the emotional discussions is something I can do without.
