Just so you all know I have the new hosting up and running and the co-site on there.

Hopefully in the next few days we'll be moving.

That may involve an outage of up to 24 hours for some of you while the domain reassigns...  But we'll post an alternative link here as soon as it's available.

My initial test are complete and we are now almost ready to move - just have some file permission issues our current hosting needs to resolve.

All going well I plan to move the site the morning of Thursday Jan 8th 2009 ACDT.

For those in other timezones that's:
  • Evening of Wednesday Jan 7 2009 GMT.
  • Early afternoon of Wednesday January 7, 2009 California TZ.

Well we had some issues with the move (obviously).

These should all be sorted out over the next few days.

In the meantime we are forced to run diretcly off our new IP address.

I'll keep everyone updated.

hehehe  Cheesy

Well the issues we were having with the domain now seem to be resolved.

However any of you connecting to the internet from some of it's more obscure backwaters may have issues while the final change replicates.

But most folks in Australia, New Zealand and the United States certainly seem to have the new address.

If anyone hear sof any issues please let us know on this thread... Which I will unsticky in three days.

Finally I can move onto the site upgrade!
